Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb. If you've already got the series 7, you probably don't need the series 9. From a performance point of view, the only difference between the two is the series 7 is noisier. For my particular type of bristles, (dense and very tough) the series 7 actually shaves closer than the series 9. So if you're thinking of upgrading, think carefully.philp

My original Braun series 7 was purchased 1/9/17 & was replaced 8/3/18 because it had become quite noisy. I now find the replacement has also become noisy despite regularly spray with Shaver Guard+ Also doesn't seem to be cutting as well-not heavy growth.

Just been reading my instructions pamphlet which tells me the cutting head should be replaced at 18 months of so. My Series 7 must be near 7 years old. Must rush into my Hornsby ShaverShop and grab one. Anyone know the price? Ta.

Does this work while plugged in and charging in power point?

How long would the battery last on this shaver (Braun Series 7), before it totally dies and won't recharge? I have the same shaver and have used it on average, once every 2 days, but the battery has died. Is this fixable?
