How To Use:
Whether straightening or curling, you will first want to use the CLOUD NINE Luxury Paddle Hair Brush to brush through a heat-protection spray through the hair, and section into 4-8 sections depending on the length and thickness of your hair.

To Straighten:

1. Picking up inch-wide sections slowly glide the Contouring Iron Pro down the length of the hair. To flatten and smooth, hold the hair directly down, slightly tugging the ends towards your shoulders with the opposite hand to the straightener. To add some volume at the root, hold the strand of hair at a 90-degree angle to the scalp and glide the straightener down.
2. Once all sections are straightened, gently brush through the hair to help the hair cool down and smooth.

To Curl:

1. Starting with an inch-wide section, clamp the Contouring Iron Pro vertically at the root (with the cord towards the roof and the plates towards the floor), and twist the iron 90 degrees away from the scalp. Slowly pull the Iron through the hair towards the ends of the hair and release.
2. Twist the hair with your fingers the same way away from the scalp to encourage curl.
3. Take the next inch-wide section and twist the Iron 90 degrees in the opposite direction to the first curl, and repeat the process.
4. Continue the process all the way across your head until you reach the two sections closest to your face on the top of your head. Curl these sections away from your face for a windswept look, or towards your face for a voluminous curled look.
5. Turn off the Iron and wait for the curls to completely cool before touching them.
6. Once the hair has cooled, use the CLOUD NINE Luxury Texture Hair Comb or Luxury Dressing Hair Brush to gently comb or brush through the curls to give a more natural finish to your style.
