The Smart Clip clipper runs on a full steel 5-in-1 blade with a lever on the side that steps between five cutting lengths - 0.8mm to 2.8mm - mid-haircut. You can blend and fade without stopping to swap combs, and the six standard guide combs cover longer lengths from 1.5mm (#½) up to 12mm (#4). A 6,000 RPM motor drives the blade through thicker and coarser hair without bogging down.
The LCD Smart Display on the clipper handle takes the guesswork out of upkeep. It flags when the blade needs oiling, when the clipper needs cleaning, and when the battery is running low, so the tool stays sharp rather than dulling quietly over months of use. A quick-release blade lifts out for cleaning without tools.

How to Use the Clipper
- Charge the clipper for one hour before first use. The LCD will show the battery level once it's ready
- Comb dry hair through so it sits in its natural direction. Wet or damp hair clumps and gives you an uneven cut
- Choose your starting length. For shorter work, set the 5-in-1 lever on the blade - 0.8mm through to 2.8mm. For longer lengths, clip on one of the six guide combs (1.5mm to 12mm)
- Start at the neckline and work upward, moving the clipper against the direction of hair growth in slow, even passes. Let the motor do the work - pressing harder doesn't cut faster
- Blend between lengths by flicking the clipper outward as you move up the head, or step the 5-in-1 lever down as you go for a smoother fade
- Check your work in the mirror from both sides. Go back over any patches that look uneven
- When the LCD flags oiling or cleaning, brush the blade clean and add a couple of drops of blade oil along the teeth before your next use
How to Use the Trimmer
- Load two AA batteries into the trimmer before first use. There's two included in the pack
- Comb the beard or hair straight so it sits flat and even
- For a shaped beard, clip on the six-position guide comb and set your length between 2mm and 12mm. For sharp lines and edges, run the trimmer without the comb
- Move the trimmer against the grain of the hair in short, controlled strokes. Work from the ears down along the jaw, then the moustache, then the neckline
- For lines and edges - cheek line, neck line, sideburn edge - turn the trimmer so the blade edge sits flat against the skin, then draw it along the line you want to define
- Brush the blade clean with the included brush after each use, and add a drop of blade oil along the teeth every few sessions
