The ghd glide™ hair straightening brush is the ultimate must-have in your styling tool arsenal. Better yet, it works on any hair style, no matter how short, long, curly or wavy your hair is! So how does it work?

First, the brush has ceramic technology with an ioniser. The ioniser helps to combat frizz by taming static in the hair to smooth and straighten flawlessly. The ceramic bristles are set to the optimum styling temperature of 185⁰C to stop unnecessary heat damage to the hair shaft while providing enough heat to style your hair to last.

The brush is also made up of high-density bristles in shorter and longer lengths. The longer bristles are finished with cool tips allowing the bristles to get as close to the scalp as possible without burning your head, while the tightly packed shorter bristles surround each strand of hair for fast styling.

So how do I get a straight and sleek look in just a few minutes? Simple! First, on dry hair use a regular hair brush, such as the ghd® paddle brush to detangle the hair. If your hair is longer or thicker, divide your hair into 2-3 sections. On shorter or thinner hair, sectioning probably isn’t necessary thanks to the longer bristles ability to easily brush through the hair strands. Apply the ghd® straight on - straight & smooth spray across the whole head and comb through with the ghd® detangling comb to protect your hair from heat damage and help your style last. Then, simply glide the brush through from root to tip across a 2-inch section of hair slowly 2-3 times, lightly holding the ends of the hair with your fingers to create mild tension. Repeat this across the whole head, and that’s all there is to it!

Pro tip: The glide™ doesn’t just straighten! Create loose beachy waves by starting with the brush horizontal and parallel to the side of your head, then alternatively twisting the brush towards or away from your face down the length of your hair through each section. Alternatively, create a more voluminous look by creating a ‘C’ motion with the brush angled away from the scalp at the roots and using the same motion again once you reach the ends.
