Panasonic’s long awaited first-ever 6-Blade Electric Shaver is here. New and exclusive to Shaver Shop, the 6-Blade is designed to tackle even the trickiest stubble. The shaver is able to provide a fast, smooth and comfortable shave. So, what makes the 6-Blade so great?

Speed & Beard Sensor
At its full power, the 6-Blade’s ultra-fast linear motor runs at 14,000 RPM providing 84,000 cross-cutting actions per minute. However, the Responsive Beard Sensor Technology reads the density of your beard 220 times per second. This sensor will maintain the higher speed and power through denser areas of stubble and reduce the speed through less-dense areas. This makes it the perfect shaver for those with thick beards, allowing for less passes to get through coarser hair. This also makes it perfect for those with sensitive skin, as less passes over the skin reduces the amount of friction and pressure applied, helping to lessen irritation caused by shaving.

Blades
Not only will 6 blades mean less passes due to a bigger surface area being covered in one stroke, but the advanced Japanese stainless-steel blades are optimised to pass through different densities of stubble with ease to minimise any grabbing.

The 6-Blade’s head is made up of 4 different types of blades. The two inner foils have reverse-tapered edges to help lift and cut flat lying hairs. These are surrounded by two thick stubble trimmer bars that help to pick up any longer hairs and cut them shorter, which will then be picked up by the two outer finishing foils, which are designed to shave even the shortest stubble. The 6 blades are complimented by the Smooth Roller, which glides over the skin to help reduce friction and irritation while also lifting any additional flat-lying hairs.

Flexible Head
The 6-Blade boasts a 22D Flexible Head, meaning all 6 blades flex left and right, while the entire head can pivot backwards and forwards and left to right. This means that it can contour around hard-to-reach areas such as the chin and neck while maintaining consistent blade-to-skin contact to ensure a faster and more even shave.

The shaver also includes a Clean and Charge Station to help you maintain your blades. Regular deep cleaning of electric shaver blades ensures that the blades don’t become clogged, which can make them less efficient. There is also a pop-up trimmer on the back for easy styling of sideburns or the moustache.
