Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle on the skin I've been using Philips shavers for 23 years (this is #3) and this new shaver has to be the best on my sensitive skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice little shaver Have had a Phillips before but the battery had lasted out its life and was only lasting one shave if that. Enter the Phillips S7310. Couldn't be happier. Have had it for a few weeks and still haven't needed to charge it. Use it almost everyday. For me it does a good job. Only two issues I can think of that has nothing to do with the functionality of the shaver. The first being removing the shaver head and removing the blades for cleaning. Can sometimes be tricky trying to remove it. Still haven't figured out how to do it as I do have slightly shaky hands at times. And the second is the case. Nice little case that houses the shaver and it's attachment (which I have rarely used mind you) but not the charger. But as I said these don't affect the functionality of the shaver. So 5 stars from me.

Hi Not withstanding the $10.00 difference, would you recommend the 7000 series or the 5000 series?  Also, is the 7000 series water proof? Thank You

Asked by: Suzanne
Hi, Thank you for your question. The Philips 7000 series shaver contains a dual track blade system as opposed to the single track blades on the 5000. This entails the 7000 to cut closer to the skin. It is also is great for sensitive skin. Thank You. Kind Regards Shaver Shop

What are the differences in the construction of the razor heads (blades etc), function & quality of the shave, between the Series 7000 S 7310 & the Series 9000 Prestige Shaver?

Asked by: Nik.
Hi, Thank you for your question. The Philips 7000 Series S7310 Electric Shaver. It not only caters to coarse hair, but also to sensitive skin. The blue ring surface around the edge of the blade has a smooth finish, which creates less friction, therefore less irritation. Its blade also sits slightly lower inside the head to prevent pulling on the hair. It is completely waterproof (when cord is detached) and can be used with or without shaving cream. It has a once hour charge and approximately 45 minutes of shaving time. It also contains a trimmer attachment to trim the facial hair if it gets too long should he go a few days without shaving. The Philips S9000 Prestige shaver available. It is a wet/dry shaver and has a Qi charging station pad for wireless charging. It’s skin comfort rings have an anti-friction coating for glide. The BeardAdapt Sensor checks the hair density 15 times per second and automatically adjusts to your hair type. It is completely waterproof (when cord is detached) and can be used with or without shaving cream. It has a once hour charge and approximately 45 minutes of shaving time. It also contains a trimmer attachment to trim the facial hair if it gets too long should he go a few days without shaving. Thank you. Kind Regards Shaver Shop

can this shaver be used for wet shaving

Asked by: Ecka
Yes, of course. I use mine mostly dry because of time, but I have tried a few ways of wet shaving and it gives a smoother result. Try using a little touch of shaving gel, just a little, and shaver away for a greater smooth shave !!
