"Dentist" Clean Teeth
I've been using this brush for a month. The 30 second/side timer and hard brushing alert are excellent. Combine those features with the rotating brush and my teeth feel clean as if I've just come out of the dentist. Would recommend this to anyone who has receding gums due to hard brushing and wanting to know how long to brush for.

Pressure sensor feature is just what I needed
My dentist suggested buying one of these Oral-B electric toothbrushes with the pressure sensor (so you know if you're applying too much pressure when brushing). I'm very pleased with this purchase. As the title states, it's just what I needed. Also, it's much more thorough than a manual toothbrush, I've noticed much better results.

Can this be taken in to the shower?

While the Oral B Pro 2 is a water-resistant toothbrush, it is not recommended for use in the shower or to be submerged in water as this may lead to a premature deterioration.

Difference between Pro 1 and Pro 2?

Thank you for your email. The Oral B 2 toothbrush has two cleaning modes, which is the Daily clean and Sensitive and it has a Lithium rechargeable battery that lasts for 2 weeks. The Oral B 1000 toothbrush has two cleaning modes, which are a Daily Clean and Gum care and has a NH-MH rechargeable battery that lasts for 1 week.
